The Humbolt Box is Watching You!

The Humbolt Box is a strange piece of modern architecture dumped incongruously on Museum Island amongst the Baroque of the Berliner Dom and the neo-classicism of Schinkel's Altes Museum.

It stands beside the building-site where the Berliner Stadtshloss is to be resurrected, and here is caught seemingly apprehensively looking at the construction cranes that are building its replacement.
